The bikes have been tuned up. (REI knew what was busted and fixed it!)
Tonight we got out all the bike togs and divided up which pants and shirts were what size and which boy was bringing what. (Carter will again wear the orange and yellow striped shirt you can see in the other photos — that way we can do a photo collage timeline as the shirt stays the same — or seems to shrink as the boy gets taller!) Lists were made of what we needed to get at REI or the local bike shop.
We’re getting out the camping gear and inspecting to make sure we remember the stakes and the fly, the lightweight sleeping bags, the mini flashlights. There’s a lot to remember. (So easy to forget!)
We made another jump in the fundraiser box. Getting closer and closer to $1,000 — can we achieve that goal before we set out on the C&O trail out of Georgetown this weekend?
